Nepali Shamanic Dance
Wednesday 10th September
The Isle of Avalon Foundation is delighted to welcome back Nepali Shaman Bhola Nath Banstola. Following his visit last year he has kindly agreed to run an amazing evening workshop with us on Nepali Shamanic Dance in Glastonbury Town Hall from 7pm - 9.30pm. Shamanic dance is the most important activity through which the Nepali shaman enters into an altered state of consciousness. As the physical body dances, the soul 'journeys' which generates an enormous energy field that transcends time and space. Energetic healings happen through the help of animal spirits, spiritual guides and spirits of nature. Awaken the shaman inside you. Price £10.
The World Drum Project
Friday 12th September 2008 from 7pm-9pm in Glastonbury Town Hall
Following a vision by Shaman Whitecougar in October 2006, Sami medicine man and drum maker Birgen Mikkelsen together with Morten Wolf Storeide built this amazing drum as a wake up call against lethargy and indifference towards Mother Earth. This Sacred Drum's journey has taken it all over the world and comes to Glastonbury for the first time uniting people along the way, reconnecting us to our original spiritual awareness with Mother Earth.
WAKE UP AND BE PART OF THIS WONDERFUL EVENT - SEND YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS WITH THIS DRUM ONTO ITS NEXT PLACE OF HEALING.
